Now that the dude manager lady who worked there forever is gone, the place has improved immensely. The customer service is much better and I'll actually go back again

The best donut 🍩 on earth. I got 2 dozen today. They were all gone in about 30 minutes after I got home with them. I live so close they were still nice and hot when I got there. 🍩❤

By far the best donuts in Shreveport good selection and most of all great taste the only problem you will have here is sometimes they do not open on time Otherwise they have great service

It's Southern Maid, got them when they coming out the fryer. There always hot after 4 pm. If you get a chance you gotta get some Southern Maid Donuts!!

This is a tiny franchise location and no comparison to Hearne Ave. store still owned by the founding family. The donuts are not the same,they are not light with the fluffy texture. Pretty much a disappointing experience. Will never visit this location again. You have been informed.

All the Shreveport Southern Maids can make the glazed donuts that taste good but the North Market store is the only Southern Maid that knows how to make the chocolate covered donuts taste like they did in the 50s and 60s.

We stopped by here on our way out of town and the sweet lady behind the counter asked if we wanted warm donuts. She made our glazed donuts right then and let me tell you! They were the best donuts I’ve ever had!! And we are from Fort Worth, TX!! If you’re driving by and they’re open, STOP! So good!!

Remarkable Donuts. Traveling from Texas through Lousiana to Tennessee. Found this place by accident as we were driving by. The sweet lady offered us fresh warm donuts. ABSOLUTELY BEST I've ever had, Krispy Kreme, Duncan, Shipley doesn't even compare to this. WOW, Thank you for great service and remarkable donuts for the family road trip.

They have the best donuts and cinnamon rolls you've ever had.

Donuts are good and hot exactly when they advertise they will be ready which is 4 PM everyday and the other products are fresh and yummy as well. The service is always better than one expects it should be.

Was not drive through you had to stand outside in the heat waited 35 minutes to give order then another car just pulls up woman in the car gets out goes to the window waves inside and out comes the cook with her order while the rest of us are still standing in the heat no I will not be going back if they had been for myself I would have left

The hard working young lady that works there has a great personality and is always friendly and makes you feel welcome.

These donuts were amazingly fresh and fantastic! A local favorite were decided to try. I think I ate these donuts for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert--- for 2 days. I should've never bought a dozen.... because I'm too greedy to share, I bought my grand kids their own dozen. I'm so ridiculous! Go... enjoy!

I'm not sure what happened to ms donna but I sure hate she's no longer at this location. The donuts I purchased had so much icing on them they were un-eatable. Hopefully the next time we stop by they're made a little better.
